When I was 15 years old, a couple of family friends won a jackpot worth about €3 million while backpacking in Europe. Discussing the big win with them, I realized that it wasn't only luck that had helped them win, as they had been strategically playing lottery games that offered great jackpot odds.

As these odds were much better than any local, regional, or national game that I was aware of in my native country of Canada, it inspired me to learn about as many international lotteries as possible.

Years later, hoping to replicate the luck the aforementioned couple had had, I too played the best lotteries in every country I visited. While the most I ever won was a few thousand dollars-which of course I was still extremely grateful for-I did accumulate a wealth of knowledge that I was soon keen to share with others.
