Can Psychics Predict Lottery Numbers?

The lottery is one of the most unpredictable games a person can participate in.

It’s so difficult to win that there are endless clichés about it. For example, we’ve all heard the saying that you’re more likely to be struck by lightning than win the lottery.

Whether that lottery myth is true or not, it’s undeniable that choosing the winning numbers is no easy thing.

However, there’s a certain group of people who specialise in predicting the unknowable: psychics.

So, why don’t we hear about psychics winning the lottery every week? Can psychics actually predict lottery numbers?

Though the odds of winning the lottery are pretty tough, there are hundreds of big winners every year.

That means that while psychics might not win the lottery every week, it is possible that some have won before.

Fast forward to August 2010, and those energies were telling her she needed to set up a lotto syndicate.

She later told media that she had a very strong feeling that she’d win the lottery by the end of the year.

So, she gathered a group of 14 of her co-workers and formed a lottery pool.

Imagine their happiness when they won a £1 million prize on Christmas Eve that year from the EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle.

And Ocean Kinge and her co-workers aren’t the only ones who have attributed their win to psychic powers.

Carolyn O’Brien, Lynne Groves and Kevin Millard are all lottery winners who claim their wins were predicted by psychics.

For O’Brien, the win came many years after a psychic foresaw her with a massive cheque in her hand. The Connecticut woman won US $3 million in May 2017 from the $3 Million Royale game.

Lynne Groves’s win came just four months after Chelmsford psychic Jill Childs told her she would have a financial windfall.

Groves won £1 million in February 2016 from a EuroMillions ticket. And the psychic prediction wasn’t the only strange thing about the win.

When Groves bought the ticket, she had asked the shopkeeper to print tickets for a different game. Seeing the shopkeeper’s mistake, she decided to take the tickets anyway.

It seems like the universe really was working in her favour.

Kevin Millard

Kevin Millard’s experience with psychic predictions came from an online psychic service. He had signed up for a free trial just for the fun of it and heard some good news.

Before he cancelled the trial, the psychic would periodically message him to tell him that money was headed his way.

The California man was happy to see the prediction come true in September 2015 when he won a US $1,009,368 prize from the popular Powerball draw.

Can Psychics Predict Lottery Numbers?

You might notice, however, that none of those examples includes a psychic actually predicting the winning numbers.

Instead, they each involve a psychic predicting a win some time, though never specifying the numbers.

When faced with the question of whether psychics can predict lottery numbers, psychics give a few different answers.

Erin Pavlina, a self-proclaimed “intuitive counsellor” gives one explanation.

She claims that since the numbers are randomly generated at drawing time, a psychic can never predict them.

Pavlina also says that no one is meant to win the lottery and that everyone who does is simply lucky.

Another somewhat similar explanation is that the numbers come from a machine instead of a human brain.

As psychics work off living energy, lottery numbers are inaccessible to them.

Whether or not that’s true or just a clever excuse, however, we’ll leave up to you to decide.

Psychic Dreams Predict the Winning Lottery Numbers

There are a few examples of lottery winners having their winning numbers predicted.

However, these predictions didn’t come from any psychic, but rather their own dreams.

Pearlie Mae Smith of New Jersey bought a Powerball ticket using numbers that came to her in a dream.

She doesn’t attribute her May 2016 US $429.6 million win to psychic powers, but rather to divine intervention.

Meanwhile, Canadian lottery winner Deng Pravatoudom also attributes her December 2020 win to a dream.

She had been playing the same numbers for 20 years after they came to her husband in a dream.

After losing her job during the coronavirus pandemic, Pravatoudom’s $60 million Canada Lotto Max win came just when she needed it most.

Is it Possible to Predict Lottery Numbers?

If psychics can’t predict lottery numbers, is there any other way to predict them if we can’t dream them?

According to some, there is-in the form of lottery prediction software.

However, having personally reviewed many lottery prediction products ourselves, we feel it’s safe to say you’re better off spending money on tickets.

Just as the psychics say, the winning numbers are randomly selected at the time of the draw.  That means that just as with humans, no computer is able to predict the outcome.

After all, the lottery is a game of chance. The only lottery strategy-including visiting psychics-that actually helps you increase your odds of winning is to buy more tickets.
